چکیده

c, -URR.ENT CLINICAL conceptions of hunger are based on reports that the experience of hunger occurs primarily during periods of contractions of the empty stomach. We were therefore surprised during study of the gastric motility of 2 obese women to find that they consistently denied feelings of hunger, even at times when their stomachs showed the classical "gastric hunger contractions." Accordingly, we reinvestigated the alleged association between gastric motility and the experience of hunger.
